The department offers an excellent education at the bachelor level. The focus here is on the broad, solid transfer of technical knowledge and the aquisition of practical skills in the laboratory. The studies are characterised by an exceptionally favourable supervision ratio and small group sizies. Studying at the University Konstanz means short distances on a green campus. In addition to Chemistry, we offer the Nanoscience studies, which combines chemistry and physics. If you are interested in chemistry and biology, the Life Science studies is for you.

Language requirements

 All Bachelor of Sciences courses are taught in German. We recommend that incoming students for the bachelor`s programme have German language skills at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The Master of Science can be taught in English upon request.
