The glassware and gas store provides the natural science departments with glassware, standard and special gases and consumables. The majority of requirements can be covered by the glassware in stock and can be collected during opening hours: e.g. ground glass flasks, crystallisation trays, Erlenmeyer flasks, analytical flasks, measuring cylinders, beakers, screw-top glasses, thermometers in various sizes. There are also plastic bottles, canisters, syringes, scalpels, microscope slides, razor blades, hose clamps, transition and connecting pieces in various sizes. If complex glass apparatus is required please contact the University's scientific engineering services. They can produce it according to your needs.

- Compressed air (50 l)
- Forming gas 95/5 (50 l)
- Helium 5.0 (10 l, 50 l)
- Carbonic acid 3.5 (10 l, 20 l, 40 l)
- Lenogan 80/20 (50 l)
- Propane gas (11 kg)
- Oxygen 3.5 (10 l, 50 l)
- Nitrogen 5.0 (10 l, 50 l)
- Synthetic air (10 l, 50 l)
- Hydrogen 5.0 (10 l, 50 l)
Further sizes can be ordered. Special gases can be inquired with our suppliers. In case they cannot supply, special gases are ordered by the University's purchasing department. Consumables like lab coats, various gloves, paper towels, brushes, aluminum foil, filter papers, soap or towels are available.
