In the chemistry lab for school students (Schülerlabor), young people can explore the world of chemistry while they are still in school: In the well-equipped rooms, they can benefit from university infrastructure, thus getting access to equipment that is not available at schools.
School classes can make an appointment to visit the lab and complete their own experiments. We also offer workshops and programmes that provide deeper insight into chemistry topics.
In addition, the lab can be used for research projects that school students and their teachers have initiated, for example, in the context of the "Jugend forscht" science competition. The chemistry lab not only offers great professional and technical support, the team will gladly connect teachers and school students with researchers and teams in the natural sciences at the University of Konstanz.
